CURVE BALL One Season Delivers The Dream Of A Lifetime! SUMMARY: As a publicity stunt,
the Marlins pluck 40 year-old Joe Hollin out of their fantasy baseball
camp and put him on the team. He is suddenly wedged between jealous 20
year-old, millionaire-athlete egos and a public rooting for the “old
guy” to succeed. With no “professional-grade” talent,
Joe survives on sheer determination and wins over his younger, wealthier
teammates by using his “life experience” to rescue their “off
field” lives from greed, girlfriends, and excess. His self-sacrifice
teaches the spoiled superstars that the value of a “team player”
goes far beyond skills and statistics. |
